There is also a camping in Versailles, called HUTTOPIA, with wood cabins, cahuttes, wood trailers,.... that can be a good price compromise, located at 20-30 min by foot to the conference venue (town bus also available). 

Other hotels, also conveniently located in the city centre of Versailles, are listed on the city tourist office web site.

Hotels in Paris, located around Montparnasse and Saint Lazare train stations, are also well located to attend the conference (direct train available - see travel info).
